Pukeahu National War Memorial Park

The National War Memorial located at Pukeahu is open every day from 10am to 5pm. The daily Last Post ceremony takes place here at 5pm - individuals and groups can register to participate in this ceremony at http://www.mch.govt.nz/last-post.

Armistice Centenary

At 11am on 11 November this year, Aotearoa New Zealand will mark the centenary of the armistice that ended the First World War in 1918. On that day 100 years ago, after four years of brutal conflict, war finally gave way to peace.
