Pukeahu National War Memorial Park

Pukeahu National War Memorial Park in Wellington commemorates more than 300,000 New Zealanders who served their country and the 30,000 who died. The National War Memorial is currently closed but the Park is the perfect place to bring a picnic; an oasis of quiet reflection in the middle of our vibrant capital city of Wellington.

In this section you’ll find information on the New Zealand Flag’s origins, design, and how it should be flown and displayed.
