Today’s 11am National Anzac Day Service at Pukeahu National War Memorial Park has been cancelled to the public due to high winds. The Atatürk Memorial Wreath-laying Service in Strathmore has also been cancelled.

The New Zealand Flag Notice 1986 has now been updated by the New Zealand Flag Notice 2024, which came into force on 1 March 2024. The Notice lists the updated days of national commemoration, including the King’s birthday and His Majesty’s Coronation Day.
