Agencies we fund

We manage government funding provided to some of New Zealand's most iconic and popular cultural organisations ranging from the Royal NZ Ballet to Heritage New Zealand.

Ngā Kōrero Tuku Iho, New Zealand Oral History Awards

The next round of Ngā Taonga Tuku Iho Oral History Awards – Piki Ake! Kake Ake! has been delayed from a deadline for applications of 30 April to 15 October this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

New Zealand History Research Trust

The New Zealand History Research Trust Fund offers financial assistance for projects that will significantly enhance the understanding of NZ's past. The next round of applications close on 15 October 2020.

Heritage EQUIP Funding

The Heritage Earthquake Upgrade Incentive Programme (Heritage EQUIP) assists private owners of nationally significant heritage buildings that are earthquake-prone.
