Manatū Taonga endorsement for time sensitive travel allocation MIQ requests

Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage can provide endorsement for time sensitive travel allocation requests for members of the arts and culture sector who meet the MIQ eligibility criteria.

Time sensitive travel allocation MIQ requests are for workers travelling to and from New Zealand to undertake time sensitive tasks in specified areas of work that will have significant consequences if not completed.

Applications must be supported by an endorsement from a Government agency.

Time sensitive travel allocations are for workers travelling to New Zealand to undertake time sensitive tasks in specified areas of work that will have significant consequences, whether human, social, environmental, economic or for New Zealand international relations and are unable to secure a Managed Isolation Allocation System voucher for their preferred date.

These allocations are also for workers who have been undertaking certain time sensitive tasks overseas and need to return to New Zealand.

The application process is managed by MIQ and information on eligibility criteria and the application process is available on the MIQ website.
