Taieri Gorge Rail Walk, 06 May 2018

This is your chance to walk the spectacular Taieri Gorge rail line. The train is normally $91 per person but you can ride and walk for only $59. Check it out on Facebook.

Gather your friends, pack a picnic and join us for a uniquely Otago experience. We travel by train from Dunedin to Flat Stream, then walk 6-8km back along the rail line to Deep Stream, taking in the dramatic scenery of the gorge. Enjoy a sausage sizzle in the sunshine at Hindon, and take the train back to Dunedin Station.

Not only is this event a once in a lifetime experience, all proceeds after costs will be donated to Tahuna Intermediate School. Funds raised will be used to purchase new teaching resources for Science and Technology.
