Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision
Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision focuses on the housing of documentaries, home movies, newsreels, television commercials, feature and short films, music videos, television programmes and associated material.
Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision is the New Zealand Archive of Film, Television and Sound Ngā Taonga Whitiāhua Me Ngā Taonga Kōrero.
The archive was formed by the amalgamation of the New Zealand Film Archive Ngā Kaitiaki O Ngā Taonga Whitiāhua, Sound Archives Ngā Taonga Kōrero and the Television New Zealand Archive between 2012 and 2014.
The Ministry manages the Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision's relationship with the Crown and administers government funding. Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision also receives income from the Lottery Grants Board.

Due to the Wellington building being classified as earthquake-prone, Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision has moved to the National Library of New Zealand building on Molesworth Street. Read more details in a September 2019 media release.

Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision is governed by a Board of Trustees, whose skills reflect archival expertise, screen and audio industry experience, knowledge of tikanga, and governance experience. The Board welcomes Expressions of Interest from people interested in serving as a Trustee of Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision.
