Regeneration Fund feedback opportunity

Regeneration Fund public feedback opportunity Round 3

Toi tipu, toi aweawe!
Grow the world of arts, so we may be inspired by the world of arts!

E ngā raukura, e ngā mana, e ngā hau e whā, nau mai haere mai ki tēnei kaupapa rangahau whānui mō Te Tahua Whakamarohi i te Rāngai Ahurea.

We invite you to give feedback on the proposals that have been submitted to the Cultural Sector Regeneration Fund. This feedback will help us decide which proposals to fund.

We are most interested in feedback from people or organisations that will benefit from a particular proposal – or those with recognised and relevant expertise.

This feedback opportunity is now closed. You can only submit feedback once per proposal during this time.

All applications published here are expected to submit for Round Three. Applicants may choose to withdraw at any point.

Who should give feedback?

We are most interested in feedback from people or organisations that will benefit from a particular proposal – or those with recognised and relevant expertise.

If you have provided feedback on an application in previous rounds, you do not need to provide additional feedback this round.

When can I give feedback?

This feedback opportunity is now closed. You can only submit feedback once for each proposal during this time.

This is the third of four feedback rounds as part of the Regeneration Fund. We will notify the exact dates of each round closer to the time via our newsletter. Indicative dates are:

Round 4: Mid-May 2023

How do I find proposals to give feedback on?

Listed below are all the proposals that will be considered for this decision round. They are grouped under dropdowns according to the primary discipline that was selected by the person or organisation who has submitted the proposal.

While they are grouped by primary discipline, a proposal may deliver benefits across multiple disciplines. For example, a proposal that is shown under the primary discipline of Dance may also have benefits for Screen and Theatre.

To help you identify proposals of interest, each proposal includes a brief summary with a link to further information and a short survey. Further information about each proposal can be viewed in the survey.

What questions will I need to answer?

Once you have followed the survey link and read about the proposal, you will be asked to answer a few short questions. You will also need to let us know why you are interested in the initiative (i.e. whether you will directly benefit or not). You will then answer two multi-choice questions:

  • Do you agree this is an important opportunity or problem for the arts, culture and heritage sectors?
  • Do you agree this initiative will have the desired benefit?

There is also a text field where you can give more feedback.

After giving feedback, you will need to fill in some basic personal information to verify who is submitting feedback.

How will my information be handled?

Manatū Taonga uses SurveyMonkey to collect survey responses. All information you provide will be safely and securely held in accordance with our privacy policy.

The feedback collected in your response will be anonymised and summarised before being shared with the person or organisation who has made the proposal. The summary will provide an overview of the level of support and any key themes.

Under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA), any person can ask Manatū Taonga for information it holds. This means we must release the information requested, unless there is a good reason to withhold it. To protect privacy, Section 9(2)(a) of the OIA allows us to withhold personal information including names and email address.

All information published about each proposal, including the disciplines and regions that will benefit, has been provided directly by the person or organisation making the proposal. The information has not been changed by, and does not represent the views of, Manatū Taonga, its partners or employees.

We welcome feedback in alternative formats, for example New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) video. If you need support with giving feedback, or understanding the feedback process, please contact [email protected]

Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou katoa.
