COVID 19 – Impact on our way of working

New Zealand has moved up to COVID-19 Alert Level 4 – Eliminate, as New Zealand escalates its response to stop the virus, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced. Manatū Taonga will be working remotely from Monday 23 March until further notice. The Ministry’s offices at 131 Lambton Quay will be closed to the public.

The Pukeahu National War Memorial Park, including the Education Centre, is closed until further notice.

Manatū Taonga is committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of our people, colleagues in the cultural sector and members of the public. We are working with cultural sector agencies to assist with their business continuity plans and continue to be available to help with any other queries or advice.

While Manatū Taonga is working remotely meetings will be held virtually. Manatū Taonga team members will always be available to assist with any queries on email, by phone and by teleconference.
