When Wellington goes digital on 29 September 2013 it will affect every TV you have whether it is in your living room, bedroom or the shed.
Going Digital community staff will be available at Civic Square in Wellington Central on Friday 14 June 2013 from 10am until 2pm to answer all your questions.
“The most important thing to remember with the move to digital TV is that if you live in Wellington and you want to keep watching TV after 29 September 2013, you need to have Freeview, SKY, IGLOO or Vodafone cable,” said Guy Burns, Community Adviser.
“If you think your TV has gone digital, it’s a good time to ensure it actually has. The simplest way to do this is to make sure you can watch more than thirteen channels and you have an on-screen TV guide” said Mr Burns.
Recorders also need to go digital and Going Digital recommends that if recording is important to viewers, they consider a Digital Personal Video Recorder, such as MyFreeview or MySky.
For more details on how you can go digital, have a chat with the Going Digital team in Civic Square, Wellington on 14 June between 10am and 2pm.
