Hayes Engineering Operating Days - 04 March and 01 April 2018
Come and see Hayes Engineering Works in full operational mode at the special demonstration days over summer.
Tours of the Engineering Works will be led by local Hayes’ guardian, Ken Gillespie who grew up near the Works and has had a life-long association with the place. You can then explore the other parts of the property and the Homestead at your own leisure. Visitors can also 're-wire' with a delicious Hayes Roast coffee from the Hayes café. There's plenty of parking for cars and cyclists.
$20 per person, accompanied children free for fully guided demonstrations and tours through the Works and house. Heritage New Zealand members free.
