SmARTtalk online forums – growing audiences for the arts
July 24th, 2009
As a follow-up to the truly excellent 21st Century Arts Conference in Wellington at the end of June, Creative New Zealand has teamed up with The Big Idea to connect us in online conversation with experts in branding, online marketing and arts patronage.
The series of three online forums is designed for arts and creative sector professionals wanting to grow audiences in any creative field. It’s a great professional learning opportunity and it’s free to join in the online discussions. You can participate by asking questions and joining in the conversation. You can also:
• share your stories, questions and challenges with other forum participants and expert guests
• learn about what works and what doesn’t
• explore your next moves
• sign up to get daily and weekly digests or alerts.
“A brand is not a logo. Brands are experiences that live in the hearts and minds of people”.
Brian Richards
SmART talk Forum 1 on the topic of “stand-out branding” is being hosted by international brand expert, Brian Richards. From the 27th of July to the 7th of August you can tune in to SmART talk and share your stories, ideas, issues and questions with Brian.
Upcoming forums will include:
SmART talk Forum 2 | Crack web-marketing
SmART talk Forum 3 | Grow arts patronage
Great information! Thanks!
I somewhat agree with Brian regarding a brand not being a logo, but the logo has the potential of becoming a brand. Thanks for the lead.
