Confidentiality

Your CV and any other information we hold on our nominations database are used only by the Governance Team in the nominations and appointments process. We keep this information secure and will not disclose it to any third parties without your approval.

Under the Privacy Act 1993, you are entitled to request access to, and correction of, any personal information that MCH holds about you. If you have any questions or concerns about how MCH may collect, use or store your personal information, please contact us.

How the nomination process works

Once we receive your CV , we enter details of your skills and experience into our nominations database. When we are invited to put forward nominations for the Minister's consideration for a particular cultural or broadcasting board , we search the database, matching the requirements of the position with the skills and experience of the people on our database.

If your skills and/or experience are relevant, you may be considered for nomination. Ministers are also required to take into account the desirability of promoting diversity in the membership of Crown entities.

Note: Expressing your interest in board positions and registering your CV with us does not mean that your name will be forwarded automatically for consideration. Nor does it commit you to accepting an appointment if it is offered to you.
